Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to significant delays experienced by persons referred to the Coombe Women and Infant University Hospital in respect of routine gynaecology appointments; the steps he is taking to allocate resources to reduce waiting times of up to 52 weeks; the average waiting time nationally for persons referred by general practitioners to hospitals that provide routine gynaecology services in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
