Deputy Róisín Shortall asked the Minister for Health the reason the Sligo cataracts scheme has not been rolled out nationally in view of its clinical success, cost effectiveness and the fact that the National Health Service in Northern Ireland has replicated this model; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
