207. Deputy Peter Burke asked the Minister for Health his views on the work being done by cardiac specialists from some hospitals in Dublin and the midlands (details supplied) who carry out voluntary cath labs in St. James's Hospital for emergencies; if all hospitals are providing cardiologists for this service; the reason certain hospitals may not participate in this service by sending their cardiologists; the effect this may have on outcomes for patients with emergency heart problems; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
