688. Deputy Thomas P. Broughan asked the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs the grants and funding issued to organisations and projects in the Dublin 5, 13 and 17 areas in 2018 and to date in 2019, in tabular form; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [26601/19]
View answerIn 2019, €60.4m has been allocated in current funding to support the provision of youth services, an increase of €1.5m on 2018. This additional funding is being used for programmes that target disadvantaged young people and to assist national youth organisations in their work to support local voluntary youth services.
I have also provided an additional 12% in overall funding for the Local Youth Club Grant Scheme, which supports youth work activities at a local level, bringing the total allocation to over €2m.

This information was supplied by the City of Dublin Youth Services Board. Please note that the list includes payments in the City of Dublin Youth Services Board system that are processed and due for payment on 27th June.
