Deputy Aindrias Moynihan asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport when he expects Bus Éireann and the National Transport Authority to implement changes to the 233 bus route; if he will request Bus Éireann and the National Transport Authority to prioritise the changes; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerAs Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport. The issue raised is a matter for the National Transport Authority (NTA) in conjunction with Bus Éireann and I have forwarded the Deputy's question to the NTA for direct reply.
