I have asked the HSE to respond directly to the Deputy on this matter. It has a range of policies and procedures aimed at supporting staff welfare, including its Dignity at Work Policy.

I am aware of the survey and that the HSE's National HR Division is currently focused on addressing bullying within the organisation. An organisation-wide Anti-Bullying Task Force has been established and an Anti-Bullying Awareness Day was held on February 28. It also held a symposium on 'Addressing Bullying at Work' on that date. It is running a series of communication campaigns under the theme 'cutitout' and is actively promoting anti-bullying practices. A Working Group established in conjunction with the IMO has been focused on issues relating to bullying of NCHDs and this Group will report shortly.
