View answerThe Association of Judges of Ireland has recently requested that my Department review the matter of retirement age for serving judges (currently age 70 years). This issue is currently under consideration by officials within my Department, and in consultation with officials of the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform who have policy responsibility for judicial pensions.
