Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Finance the legal costs incurred by the State with respect to the successful case taken by a person (details supplied) in both the High Court and the Court of Appeal; if the costs are now fully discharged; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am advised by the Special Liquidators that a settlement agreement was entered into between the parties to the proceedings and, due to the confidentiality provisions in the settlement agreement, its terms cannot be referred to.
