Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment if compensation will be payable under the provisions of the CETA trade agreement with Canada in the situation in which a Canadian company with a prospecting licence that found a viable quantity of minerals to mine was refused a mining licence on scenic and environmental grounds; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
