Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the revenue raised from the start date of a contract with a company (details supplied) to date in 2019 on a route-by-route basis in the context of gross cost contract between the National Transport Authority, NTA, and the company; the figures from cash and Leap fares respectively; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport

As Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport. The issue raised is a matter for the National Transport Authority (NTA) in conjunction with the relevant transport operator and I have forwarded the Deputy's question to the NTA for direct reply.
