View answerThe Criminal Injuries Compensation Tribunal, which has responsibility for the administration of the Scheme of Compensation for Personal Injuries Criminally Inflicted, is independent of my Department in the processing of individual applications under the Scheme.
However, to be of assistance to the Deputy I have made enquiries with the Tribunal and have been informed that the Tribunal wrote to the applicant on 27 June 2019 seeking additional information necessary for consideration of the case and is awaiting a response.
