997. Deputy Thomas P. Broughan asked the Minister for Health his plans to reinstate a multi-annual funding model for organisations in the disability sector, as advocated by the multi-annual investment programme proposal of the Oireachtas disability group; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Sláintecare Implementation Strategy commits to reform the funding system to support new models of care and drive value to make better use of resources. In this regard, the Department is examining the feasibility of implementing multi-annual budgeting in the healthcare system.
