Deputy Michael Moynihan asked the Minister for Education and Skills the status of an application for a permanent extension at a school (details supplied); if his attention has been drawn to the urgent need for this school to have certainty regarding its future enrolment capacity; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department is in receipt of an application, for additional accommodation, from the school referred to by the Deputy.  The application is currently being assessed and on completion a decision will be relayed to the school authority.  In the meantime, an interim accommodation solution has been agreed with the school Patron.
