Deputy Róisín Shortall asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the actions taken to improve accessibility arrangements for persons with a disability and mobility impairment in accessing heavy rail services; the way in which it is planned to provide 100% accessibility; and the timeframe and budget provided to achieve same. Under the Dublin Transport Authority Act 2008, the National Transport Authority (NTA) has statutory responsibility for promoting the development of an integrated, accessible public transport network.
