320. Deputy Jackie Cahill asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if he will examine the possibility of vaccinating hares to protect them from the deadly RHD2 virus which has been detected in a number of counties. [40681/19]

I am aware of the emergence of RHD2 virus in hares and my Department is currently engaging with relevant stakeholders to determine the most appropriate response to this disease.
