Deputy Anne Rabbitte asked the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs the point at which in the social work assessment of a retrospective disclosure details of the allegation are shared with the person suspected of the alleged abuse; if the process is consistent with the general data protection regulation; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I wish to advise the Deputy that the question relates to an operational matter for Tusla, the Child and Family Agency. I have therefore referred the matter to Tusla, and asked that a direct response issue to the Deputy in due course.
