View answerThe Health Information and Quality Authority has advised the Department that it does not hold data on the number of dementia-specific beds in public or private nursing homes. The Department of Health also does not hold such data.
I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond directly to the Deputy as soon as possible on the number of dementia-specific beds in public nursing homes.
