Deputy Michael Fitzmaurice asked the Minister for Health the reason the quality of day services offered by the Sacred Heart Hospital, County Roscommon for elderly persons has diminished recently; the reason the length of time such persons are allowed to stay has shortened; the reason the number of vehicles used to transport persons to and from the hospital has been dropped to just one; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
