97. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Education and Skills when an assessment in respect of the current and projected needs of a primary school (details supplied) in County Kildare in order to determine the replacement of deficient facilities in terms of accommodation with a view to maximising the proposals in keeping with the current space requirement demographics and special needs with a view to addressing the issue at an early date; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I wish to advise the Deputy that my Department is in receipt of an application, for additional school accommodation, from the school authority in question. The application is currently being assessed and the school will be informed of the decision shortly.
