Deputy Barry Cowen asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform further to Parliamentary Question No. 314 of 26 November 2019, the estimated cost of the national children’s hospital in each of the years 2020 to 2022 that is additional to the amount allocated in the National Development Plan 2018-2027; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am aware that my colleague, the Minister for Health, has provided the Deputy with the cost profile for this project.

While the NDP includes some indicative costing information on some projects, it does not allocate funding at project level. Funding of individual projects is a matter for the relevant Department or agency, in the first instance.
