577. Deputy Pearse Doherty asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection when a person (details supplied) will receive confirmation if a balance of payment is owing from their UK state pension made to the authorities here; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection

Following an assessment of the customer's payments from my Department, I am advised that there is no overpayment. Arrangements are being made for the full arrears of €857.06 to be issued to the customer.

I hope this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
