578. Deputy Thomas P. Broughan asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection the number of staff employed in the partial capacity benefit section; and the average processing time for a partial capacity benefit application. [49972/19]

Minister of State at the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection

There are currently nine officers working within my Departments Partial Capacity Benefit team. The average processing time for decisions on new applications currently stands at four weeks.
