Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection the basis on which her Department allows a company (details supplied) to make a demand for a passport and-or a driver licence issued here as a method of verifying the identity of a person; if she has consulted with the company in respect of the way in which and-or the location it stores customer identification; if she has consulted with the company on the way in which it shares the information it collects from persons with third parties; if she has met with the owners and directors of the company; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
