Deputy Róisín Shortall asked the Minister for Health his plans to ensure the ongoing provision of a position (details supplied) at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin in view of the fact that the current specialist is due to leave by year end without a replacement provided for; if his attention has been drawn to the concerns of families whose children are attending Crumlin for pain management; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
