Deputy Robert Troy asked the Taoiseach and Minister for Defence the expenses incurred by his Department to date in 2019 for the implementation of ongoing communications strategy initiatives that highlight schemes and programmes operated under the auspices of his Department including advertising and promotion on television, radio, newspapers and online in tabular form; and the level of expenditure for each such initiative. My Department carries out an annual Be Winter Ready campaign each winter. The table below sets out the full costs for the campaign for Winter 2019-2020. This is the only campaign or programme of this nature carried out by my Department.
