402. Deputy Robert Troy asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the meetings he has held with Minister for Justice and Equality in relation to extending the eligibility criteria for asylum seekers to apply for a driver licence. [53754/19]

I have not met with the Minister for Justice and Equality specifically on this issue to date.  However, my officials and I have been corresponding with the Department of Justice and Equality on this matter and engagement between both Departments continues.
