View answerI wish to confirm that the Commissioners of Irish Lights are responsible for the operation and maintenance of aids to navigation and lighthouses in Irish coastal waters. This includes the lighthouse at Roche's Point, Co. Cork.
I have consulted with the Commissioners of Irish Lights and they have advised that there are no works planned for Roches Point Lighthouse other than normal aids to navigation system maintenance.
