Deputy Michael McGrath asked the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs the reason home tuition is not bring provided for a child (details supplied) in County Cork; the steps being taking to ensure they are receiving a proper education; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I wish to inform the Deputy that the provision of home tuition supports is a matter for the Department of Education and Skills.

Tusla Education Support Service (TESS) has engaged with the child in this case. I have asked TESS to reply directly to the Deputy.
