Deputy Aengus Ó Snodaigh asked the Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government the discussions he has had on the redevelopment and insulation of Glovers Court flats, York Street, Dublin 2; and if funds will be allocated to Dublin City Council which will allow it to make the flats habitable for tenants. View answerMy Department works closely with all local authorities with a view to progressing any potential Social Housing projects.
My Department has not yet received any application for funding in respect of Glovers Court flats in York St.
However, I understand that Dublin City Council are currently procuring a design team to carry out a feasibility study on Glovers Court for the purposes of redevelopment. It is a matter for Dublin City Council to bring forward proposals for Department funding approval.
