Deputy Roderic O'Gorman asked the Minister for Education and Skills if the new secondary school for the Blanchardstown village and Blanchardstown west school planning areas, the patronage of which was recently awarded to the Dublin and Dún Laoghaire Education and Training Board, will include an ASD unit; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I wish to advise the Deputy that a Special Education Needs Base will be included in the new permanent secondary school building for Blanchardstown West Dublin 15 and Blanchardstown Village (Regional Solution) when constructed.
