Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Health the reason nurses who continue to work in the health services after 65 years of age revert to their starting salary and lose all increments for subsequent years worked; his views on whether this acts as a disincentive to experienced persons continuing to work in the health services; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
