Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment the top ten websites visited by officials and political staff annually in each of the years 2017 to 2019 and to date in 2020 via hardware provided to them by his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerMy Department uses web filtering technologies to control access to websites, these filtering technologies use category information, and reputation scores for each website and blocks or allows accordingly. For operational reasons the information is kept on the filtering infrastructure for a limited time - currently set to a maximum of one month. The list of top ten websites is only readily available from 11th April 2020, The top site in each category is detailed in the table below:
