Deputy Jackie Cahill asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if his attention has been drawn to the implications on food production of a dispute between the Food Safety Authority of Ireland and the local authority veterinary service in relation to the funding of the service; if he has had communication or briefings with the Minister of Health regarding same; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
