Deputy Róisín Shortall asked the Minister for Health the status of progress with phase 2 of the national forensic mental health capital project, which will provide new regional intensive care rehabilitation units in the HSE west and HSE south areas, in view of the reported imminent opening of the new National Forensic Mental Health Service Hospital, Portrane, County Dublin; if the site selection and pre-planning for the two units has commenced; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
