Deputy Paul Kehoe asked the Minister for Finance the status of the processing of the revised claim for fuel grant for members of the drivers and passengers with disabilities scheme; if the case of a person (details supplied) will be addressed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have asked my officials to investigate the status of this claim and if all is in order to ensure payment is made without further delay. I understand that the initial delay was due to an error in the online claim. I have further asked my officials to revert directly to the Deputy on the matter in the coming days.
