View answerI am aware of the role that platforms such as AirBnB play in Irish tourism. My predecessor established the Tourism Recovery Taskforce to prepare a Tourism Recovery Plan which will include a set of recommendations on how best the Irish tourism sector can adapt and recover in the changed tourism environment.
The Tourism Recovery Taskforce has undertaken a widespread stakeholder consultation process and I understand that the Taskforce has heard directly from a number of stakeholders recently, including AirBnB, as it works towards a final report.
