Deputy Matt Carthy asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if briefings, correspondence, reports or materials on the appropriateness of effectiveness of use of the Ramsar convention with regard to the draft Commission regulation amending Annex 27 to EC Regulation No 1907/2006 will be provided; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The lead Department responsible for the implementation of the Ramsar convention is the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage.  I advise the Deputy to resubmit the question to that Department for answer.
