202. Deputy Michael Moynihan asked the Minister for Education and Skills if a grant for students to avail of information technologies announced on 22 July 2020 will be made available to students in further education. [19522/20]
View answerAs the Deputy will be aware, the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science recently secured Cabinet approval for a substantial package of supports which are for both further and higher level institutions and students. The distribution of the funds and the principles governing the additional supports for students including in relation to access to devices will be finalised in due course following consultation with appropriate stakeholders.
