205. Deputy Ged Nash asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the status of plans to roll out the new D4 and D5 Bus Éireann services in Drogheda and the enhanced 189 service; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19816/20]
View answerThe Deputy will be aware that enhanced, improved and expanded public transport services across the country were announced last week as part of the Government's Jobs Stimulus Plan. Included in the Plan are new public transport services for Drogheda and enhancement of the existing 189 bus service. Planning for the roll out of the new services and enhancement of existing services will be undertaken by the National Transport Authority (NTA) in conjunction with the various operators, including Bus Éireann.
