767. Deputy Joe O'Brien asked the Minister for Health the number of families that have received consultations with the genetics service in Our Lady’s Hospital, Crumlin, to establish if their child or children have been affected by exposure to sodium valproate in utero; the number of diagnoses of foetal anticonvulsant syndrome, foetal valproate spectrum disorder and foetal valproate syndrome that have been recorded as a result of these consultations; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
