View answerMy Department is currently engaging with the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform in relation to a further extension beyond 30 September 2020 of the temporary waiver of pension abatement for essential frontline healthcare workers.
The extension requirement is based on the need to retain critical skills within the health sector workforce to address the current public health situation due to COVID 19.
