Deputy John McGuinness asked the Minister for Education if she will respond to an application submitted to her Department by a school (details supplied); if she will engage with the schools to bring about the best outcome for the school community; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I can confirm that my Department is in receipt of an application for change of status from the school referred to by the Deputy. This application is under assessment and once complete, the school authority will be contacted directly with a decision.
