34. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Transport if a person (details supplied) in County Kerry will be permitted to apply for the driver test without the certificate of professional competence truck case studies test given the delay in test appointments; and if he will make a statement on the matter. This is a matter for the Road Safety Authority. I have referred the question to the Authority for direct reply. I would ask the Deputy to contact my office if a response is not received within 10 days.
