Deputy James Lawless asked the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth if inquiries will be made regarding the reason staff at youth projects (details supplied) have been redirected by Tusla leaving a gap in an important service; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My office has recently received representations in relation to the issue raised by the Deputy.

As this is an operational issue for Tusla, the Child and Family Agency, I have requested that Tusla respond to the Deputy directly on this matter.
