Deputy John Paul Phelan asked the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science the number of persons who have availed of SUSI grants in 2020; the percentage this is in relation to the student population at large; and if he will make a statement on the matter. It is anticipated that the number of students who will avail of the SUSI grant for the 2020/21 academic year is circa 70,700.
