Deputy Mattie McGrath asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if he has a legal obligation to give data on the value of a single farm payment to a farmer from whose land those single farm payments were taken by a person leasing the land at the termination of the lease in view of the fact it is the lessee's personal data. The information requested relating to the value of a Single Farm Payment made to the lessee of the land is the personal information of the lessee and therefore, cannot be disclosed to the lessor.
