821. Deputy Michael Fitzmaurice asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine further to Parliamentary Questions Nos. 968, 969 and 970 of 24 November 2020, the educational qualification required to fill the role of head of environment in the Forest Service; if the role of chief inspector in the Forest Service has been filled; the name of the current chief inspector in the Forest Service; if it is the head of environment or the head of ecology who oversees the establishment of policies for screening sites; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Head of Environment policy in the Forestry Inspectorate is filled at Forestry Inspector Grade 1 level. The Head of this Section is a qualified forester with a level 8 and level 9 qualification in forestry.   The Head of the Forestry Inspectorate is Séamus Dunne.  The Head of Environment co-ordinates and oversees the production and updating of the Standard Operational Procedures in relation to AA screening.
