458. Deputy Michael Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the reason his Department has stated that there is a debt outstanding from 2014 for a person (details supplied) in County Mayo in view of the fact that this person appealed this debt and the appeal was upheld and his Department has since made other payments to this person; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The person named had a debt recorded on their Department of Agriculture, Food and Marine account in relation to the AEOS, Area Based and Single Farm Payment schemes.

Following a successful appeal, the Department has removed the outstanding debt from that account.
