Deputy Róisín Shortall asked the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth the number of residential care units for children provided by Tusla directly; the cost of this provision; the number of children placed in such residential provision; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Deputy is referring to an operational matter for Tusla, the Child and Family Agency. I have therefore referred the matter to Tusla, and asked that a direct response be provided to the Deputy.
