Deputy Colm Burke asked the Minister for Health if consideration will be given to increasing the number of basic and higher postgraduate specialist training posts in order to meet the demand with the number of posts front-loaded in year 1 accompanied by a corresponding increase in the number of consultants required to provide training; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
